Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website and book a table with us, regardless of disability or the technology they use. This statement describes how we meet accessibility requirements, in particular those of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).

Compliance status

This website was designed and developed in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549. Based on our own review, it largely meets these requirements; known limitations are listed below.

What we have done

• clearly structured pages with headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link;
• full keyboard operability with clearly visible focus indicators;
• text contrast of at least 4.5 : 1;
• text alternatives for all meaningful images;
• text that can be enlarged without loss of content, and a layout that adapts to any screen width;
• a booking form with visible labels, marked required fields, clear error messages next to the field and no time limits;
• a calendar that can be operated entirely with the arrow keys;
• the menu additionally as a simple list;
• respect for the “reduce motion” system setting, which switches off animations;
• no captchas: spam protection works invisibly in the background.

Known limitations

• The three-dimensional illustrations (wine glass, bottles) are decorative; their content is also available as text and via buttons.
• Linked third-party content (press articles, map services) is outside our control.
